The purpose of EEMUA´s Incident
Reporter ! database is to help
Members to improve their management of capital assets and
their
management of risk.
EEMUA´s
Incident Reporter! database
does this by:
- raising awareness of past incidents and near misses, and
- allowing analysis of the consequences, causes and lessons
learned.
The database allows safety-related information to be openly
shared
within a user community of professional engineers, all engaged
in
ensuring that capital plant assets are well managed with
regard to
safety, health, and environmental risks, and that operational
efficiency
and effectiveness are optimised.
Members of this community can report incidents and ´near
misses´
to one another, can spread the word about root causes, and
learn from
the experiences of their colleagues.
At the present time, access to the Incident
Reporter! database
is
restricted to members of the EEMUA Storage Tanks Committee
(STC).
If your organisation is a Member of this Committee, you
can log-in
above to interrogate the database.
If your organisation is not a Member of STC, but you would
like to have
access to similar,
Incident Reporter! Facilities,
send an e-mail
explaining this and giving your name, organisation and telephone
number
to info@eemua.co.uk
