The Engineering Equipment and Materials Users Association is a non profit distributing industry association. Its products and services are exempt from Value Added Tax (VAT) and all prices quoted are the full price.
Making A Purchase
Making a purchase is easy. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
We accept credit card payment. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.
We accept Visa and MasterCard. We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Back-ordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, postal service, or over the Internet.
When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular Publication or product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Shipping And Handling
Orders will normally be dispatched by surface mail in Europe, or air-mail in the rest of the world. If you selected the premium-rate option for courier delivery, we will normally aim to dispatch by DHL or other recognized courier services.
Delivery Schedule
We normally aim to deal with your order right away. We will aim to dispatch your order to you within two business days of a contract existing. International orders by post are generally received within 14 days and courier within 4 days.
Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. Back-order wait time is normally less than 14 days.
Tax Charges
EEMUA is not registered for VAT. All prices quoted are the full price (VAT exempt).
Credit Card Security
When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are decrypted only after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.
Guarantee
The contents of all EEMUA Technical Publications are developed and maintained by Members of the Association - significant purchasers and users of engineering equipment and materials. The Association has a reputation and history stretching back more than 50 years.
